Salt Lake City Discovery Children's Museum

The Children's Museum in Salt Lake is AWESOME!! We spent over three hours there, and didn't even make it through half of it! Jarom, Macie and I went with my friend Ann and her daughter (Jarom's girlfriend (friend that's a girl)), Sophia. This video was in the stage production center - Ann was reading the script to The Three Little Pigs. Below is a real LifeFlight rescue helicopter, with controls, an air traffic control tower off to the side where you can talk between the two, and all sorts of dress ups and rescue scenarios to act out. Back inside the main museum there are two floors packed with fun things for learning and trying out news broadcasting, weather, the ball room, mail, grocery store concepts, theatre, sports, human body, movies, art, music, home life, water play, etc. etc. etc. I kept thinking that this is the kind of place that I wish I had when I was growing up. It's so cool there - I bet I had as much fun as the kids

News station with teleprompter - it was really cool to be co-anchormen. And now, back to you...

Macie and her blocks - she loves things that stack and fit inside each other. This was before she learned to crawl, so it will probably be a whole new experience for her when we go back
